Commitment to Justice and Oppression Awareness
JayWalk prioritizes causes that amplify voices of oppressed and marginalized communities. The app stands with movements seeking justice, equity, and liberation, particularly where systemic power imbalances exist.
Intersectionality is Our Foundation
We recognize that struggles for justice are interconnected. Causes addressing climate justice, racial equity, indigenous sovereignty, gender equality, and other liberation movements often intersect. JayWalk will highlight these connections and invite users to explore how different movements support one another.
Respectful Plurality of Perspectives
JayWalk will encourage diverse perspectives within movements that align with our values. We welcome curiosity and thoughtful discussion but draw the line at hate speech, discrimination, or calls for violence.
Principles of Power and Balance
Causes supported by JayWalk will be evaluated through a lens of power dynamics and historical context. Movements that uphold systems of oppression or perpetuate harm against marginalized communities will not be amplified.
Aligned with Global Justice Standards
To ensure consistency, JayWalk aligns itself with internationally recognized frameworks for human rights and justice, such as:

No Space for Oppression or Hate
While JayWalk supports a plurality of ideas, we do not provide a platform to hate groups, oppressive ideologies, or organizations that violate human rights.

JayWalk is created by a small, passionate team of volunteers—activists, peacebuilders, and engineers from across the globe. United by a shared purpose for justice, we aim to amplify movements and foster global solidarity.
Here's how we protect you:
- No registration required: You don't need to share personal information to use the app. We only use an anonymous, secure device ID.
- Temporary event data: Event information is automatically deleted after it concludes—no lasting records.
- Built for security: Designed to prioritize anonymity while overcoming shadow bans and algorithm bias to empower movements.
Most events shared on JayWalk are already public and accessible to anyone, including law enforcement.
However:
- Organizers can add access codes for sensitive events, restricting who can join.
- Our priority is amplifying movements while safeguarding privacy.
- We don't collect or store any personal data—your identity always remains protected.
JayWalk helps by overcoming shadow bans so the right people can find and join the movement.
To protect your privacy and safety:
