Tech for Palestine
Commitment to Justice and Oppression Awareness

JayWalk prioritizes causes that amplify voices of oppressed and marginalized communities. The app stands with movements seeking justice, equity, and liberation, particularly where systemic power imbalances exist.

Intersectionality is Our Foundation

We recognize that struggles for justice are interconnected. Causes addressing climate justice, racial equity, indigenous sovereignty, gender equality, and other liberation movements often intersect. JayWalk will highlight these connections and invite users to explore how different movements support one another.

Respectful Plurality of Perspectives

JayWalk will encourage diverse perspectives within movements that align with our values. We welcome curiosity and thoughtful discussion but draw the line at hate speech, discrimination, or calls for violence.

Principles of Power and Balance

Causes supported by JayWalk will be evaluated through a lens of power dynamics and historical context. Movements that uphold systems of oppression or perpetuate harm against marginalized communities will not be amplified.

Aligned with Global Justice Standards

To ensure consistency, JayWalk aligns itself with internationally recognized frameworks for human rights and justice, such as:

  • United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights
  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Global agreements for indigenous rights, climate justice, and equity.

No Space for Oppression or Hate

While JayWalk supports a plurality of ideas, we do not provide a platform to hate groups, oppressive ideologies, or organizations that violate human rights.

We're launching with assemblies supporting Palestinian liberation and are expanding to include diverse, intersectional causes such as:

  • Justice for Sudan
  • Congo solidarity
  • Environmental action
This is just the beginning. Together, we'll amplify interconnected struggles and build global solidarity.

JayWalk supports a wide range of initiatives to help you take a stand. Paths of resistance include:

  • Workshops and teach-ins: Educating, equipping, and inspiring communities for action.
  • Sit-ins: Occupying spaces to demand change.
  • Exhibitions: Creative resistance through art, film, and storytelling.
  • Vigils: Standing in solidarity and remembrance.
  • Emergency mobilizations: Responding to urgent moments.
  • Fundraisers: Supporting causes through collective financial efforts.
  • Community actions: Building solidarity and sparking change through everyday acts of resistance.
Resistance is about creativity, education, and empowering change. Every action matters—each step brings us closer to justice.

We understand skepticism—it's natural when something challenges the norm, especially in a time when platforms have betrayed trust through tracking, censorship, and data collection. JayWalk was created to address these issues and provide a safer, more empowering alternative.
JayWalk is a disruptive idea, and disruption often invites questions. Honest feedback can lead to better ideas, and we welcome constructive input from those committed to justice. We promise to meet your concerns with transparency, action, and a commitment to real impact.
With your input, we're building a platform that protects movements, connects allies, and amplifies resistance.
